Dr. David M Spitz

David M Spitz, DC

David M Spitz, DC has been a practicing chiropractor since 1982. From the beginning of his career, Dr. Spitz had an interest in furthering his knowledge in the field of neurology. To accomplish this, he completed a post-graduate program in functional neurology that was taught by Dr. Ted Carrick of the Carrick Brain Centers. Dr. Spitz is certified in AMA Guide to Impairments and through his advanced training and unique style of combining many natural therapies, Dr. Spitz has been able to help thousands of patients suffering with severe neck and back pain due to auto injuries, as well as those patients suffering from tension and migraine headaches.

Dr. Spitz completed his chiropractic training at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO in 1981 and his undergraduate training at Hunter College in NYC. For over 25 years, he taught an annual stress workshop in Bristol CT to help the community learn about the harmful effects of stress and learn how to manage stress naturally. To follow one of his dreams and ease his own stress, Dr. Spitz became a private pilot and, in 2000, earned his instrument rating. Dr. Spitz went on to train as a Basic and then as an Intermediate level EMT to work as a volunteer, where he served as Lieutenant of the ambulance in his hometown.

Because of his passion for helping people naturally, Dr. Spitz took a 'Wellness' certification program that taught the importance of eating properly, thinking properly, and exercising properly to help achieve optimal health. Taking stock of his own health, he started eating only grass-fed meats, improved his overall diet, and began a path of spirituality and exercise. The desire for intense exercise and to stay motivated, led him in 2009 to begin taking lessons in Kyokushin karate, eventually earning his black belt in 2013.

Ironically, after being involved in a car accident and injuring his neck, Dr. Spitz began to get frequent and severe migraines. After dealing with chronic neck spasm, head pain, and insomnia, he was excited to work on the Stone Age Wellness Medical Advisory Board and be a part of the creation of natural supplements that would address some of these concerns.

Between the intense exercise afforded by karate and natural supplements to help with muscle spasm, many of his symptoms had been helped. However, he continued to get frequent and oftentimes severe migraine headaches.

Working with Dr. Romie, who specializes in Mind-Body healing, and following her nutritional and spiritual recommendations, as well as specific mindful meditations, Dr. Spitz was greatly helped with his migraines. Dr. Spitz's knowledge and experience with migraines was key to the development of a nutritional supplement that combined clinically proven natural ingredients to help reduce migraine headaches. The result was MigraGone™.

Olivia Lau

Olivia Lau

Olivia Lau has been a community pharmacist for since 2008. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut in 2004 and became a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2006. She had worked for a large retail pharmacy for 9 years before moving to an independent community pharmacy as the pharmacist manager, where she currently works.

Her passion and professional interests are to find ways to heal the body through diet, lifestyle, herbs, and natural remedies. These interests arose after receiving a diagnosis of Graves Disease, a condition in which the thyroid is over active, and the accompanying realization that she was living a very stressful and unhealthy lifestyle. In order to improve her current condition and general health, she decided to change her work environment by taking on a less stressful employment opportunity and studying Ayurvedic therapy. Consequently, she enrolled in the Ayurveda health counselor program at the Kripalu School of Ayurveda in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This program focuses on the importance of diet and lifestyle as a preventative measure, utilizing the tools of yoga and meditation to help aid in a healthy mentally balanced lifestyle. Upon completion of the program in June of 2015 she will be a certified Ayurvedic health counselor. She plans on using her knowledge, experience, and skills to provide accurate information to the public about alternative ways to prevent disease, promote healthy lifestyle changes, and provide holistic approaches to improve physical and mental well being.
